What is Hospice?
Hospice is a program that provides care for people who have been diagnosed as terminally ill. Hospice care makes it possible for people to spend their last days in the comfort of their home, assisted living, nursing home, or other residence with their family or caregiver. Hospice patients receive pain control, psychological, social, and spiritual support from a qualified support staff.
What can I expect?
Complete Hospice Care offers patients and their families a variety of support services which are explained here. Our service team will put together a plan of care based on the needs of the patient and their family. Medications, medical equipment, and incontinent supplies are just some of the support services provided. Additional services provided include pain and symptom management as well as bereavement and spiritual counseling. The patient may have their religious desires carried out throughout their illness by a qualified religious representative.
Who is eligible?
Patients who have been diagnosed with limited life expectancy by a physician. The patient has to reside in Complete Hospice Care service area.
