A promise given to those facing a terminal illness when choices seem so few. Hospice is about living the remainder of your life to the fullest in a secure and familiar surroundings with those who matter most. Complete Hospice Care offers our patients an alternative to routine home care and repeated hospitalizations.
Who is Eligible?
Complete Hospice Care offers services to those patients with limited life expectancy, as diagnosed by their physician. Hospice patients do not have to be homebound. Hospice is paid for by Medicare or private insurance. No person shall be denied service based on age, race, national origin, disease, handicap, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
Volunteers are an integral part of hospice care. Our Volunteers often express their work as a blessing. The satisfaction a volunteer receives from knowing they have made a real difference in the life of a patient or family is what makes being a hospice volunteer special. To be invited into these moments of a person’s life is an honor and a privilege.
Complete Hospice Care does not exclude, deny benefits to, or otherwise discriminate against any person on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or on the basis of disability or age, gender, sexual orientation, or communicable disease in admission to, participation, or receipt of the services and benefits under any of it’s programs or activities, whether carried out by Complete Hospice Care directly or through a contractor or any other entity with which Complete Hospice Care arranges to carry out it’s programs or activities.
Severe illness can be overwhelming for the patient and the family – but that's where hospice can help.
Hospice is covered by Medicare for all eligible patients and is covered by most Medicaid and commercial insurance plans. Anyone can refer a patient to hospice, and the evaluation is free.
